Miss Jennings' Philosophy of Giftedness
Children with a high ability level, a sense of creativity and/or athletic ability, and who show commitment to their school work and other activities demonstrate gifted characteristics. My conception of giftedness includes a variety of components to ensure that the student is well rounded and is given the opportunity in a gifted program based on their ability and not their prior achievement.
